You can delete your account yourself, at any time, from inside the app. It takes about half a minute and you do not have to ask anyone.
Deleting from the app
- Open Daypen. On the home screen, tap the profile circle in the top right to open Settings.
- Look at the Account card at the top.
- Tap the red Delete account at the bottom of that card.
- Choose Delete everything in the confirmation that appears.
If you signed in a long time ago you may see “For your safety, sign in again and then delete the account.” Sign out, sign back in, and the deletion goes through.
What gets deleted
| Data | What happens |
|---|---|
| Your account (the Google/Apple link) | Permanently deleted |
| Your username, name and email address | Permanently deleted |
| All your plans on the server: blocks, tasks, notes, tags, habits, completion records, flights | Permanently deleted |
| Your assistant chat history | Permanently deleted |
| Everything on this phone | Wiped in the same step — only your language and theme preference remain |
| Pending reminder notifications | Cancelled |
This cannot be undone. If there is a note you want to keep, copy it somewhere else before you delete.
If you cannot reach the app
If you lost your phone or already deleted the app, you can ask us to delete the account for you. Write to destek@gepgo.com from the email address on the account. Once we have verified who you are we delete it within 30 days and confirm when it is done.
This is enough to write:
I request the deletion of my Daypen account and all of my data. My username is @…
Is deleting the app enough?
If you used it without an account, yes — your data was only ever on the phone. If you signed in, no: removing the app clears the device but leaves your server account intact. To erase everything, delete the account first and then remove the app.
Legal basis
This right is covered by GDPR Article 17 (“right to be forgotten”) and by Articles 7 and 11 of Turkey's KVKK. We answer such requests within 30 days at the latest.
