By using Daypen you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the app.
The service
Daypen is a free iPhone app for planning, note-taking and habit tracking. It contains no in-app purchases, subscriptions or advertising. We may change or discontinue the service; if it is to be shut down permanently, we will say so inside the app in advance.
Your account
- An account is optional — the app works fully without one.
- If you create one, keeping your Google or Apple account secure is your responsibility.
- You should not use this app if you are under 13.
- You can delete your account from inside the app at any time.
Your content stays yours
The notes, plans and records you write are yours. We claim no rights over them; we process them only to show them back to you and to sync them between your devices. We do not use your content for advertising and do not sell it.
The AI assistant
- Assistant answers can be wrong. Do not act on an important decision without checking.
- The assistant is not medical, legal, financial or psychological advice and does not replace a professional.
- Using the assistant sends a summary of your plans to a third-party AI service (DeepSeek, China). See the Privacy Policy.
- We may apply reasonable limits on assistant usage to prevent abuse.
What you must not do
- Overload the app or our servers with automated tools
- Attempt to access someone else's account
- Use the app for any unlawful purpose
- Reverse engineer the app to gain unauthorised access to our services
Backups and liability
The app is provided “as is”. We cannot guarantee that it will run without interruption, that it will be free of defects, or that your data can never be lost. Please keep a separate copy of anything you would hate to lose.
To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for data loss, lost profits or indirect damages. This limitation does not cover wilful misconduct or gross negligence.
Ending the relationship
We may close an account that clearly breaches these terms. You can end things at any time by deleting your account.
Changes
Material changes to these terms are announced inside the app. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Your rights under applicable consumer legislation are unaffected.
