In Settings › Prayer Times, choose the calculation method used in your country and the Asr method (Standard or Hanafi). For small remaining differences you can adjust each prayer by minutes. Tap the city name on the Prayer screen to make sure your location is correct.

Check that notifications are on in iPhone Settings › Notifications › Nur Quran, then turn on prayer notifications in the app under Settings › Notifications. iOS allows at most 64 scheduled notifications, so the app re-schedules the next few days each time it opens; opening it at least once a week is enough.

A translation is downloaded once when you first select it and then works offline. Check your internet connection and open the surah again.

Tap "Listen with translation" on a surah, or set the audio mode to "Recitation + translation" in the reader settings (top right). English, Turkish, Urdu and French use human-voiced translations; other languages use the device voice.

The Hijri calendar can differ by a day or two between countries depending on moon sighting. Use Settings › Prayer Times › Hijri date adjustment to shift it by up to ±2 days.

The person who started the khatm shares the invite code from More › Shared Khatm. On the same screen, tap "Join with a code" and enter it. Tap a free juz to take it and mark it as completed after reading.

Hold the phone flat, move away from magnets (case magnets, speakers) and calibrate the compass by moving the phone in a figure eight.
