Licence, content sources and liability

By downloading or using Nur Quran you agree to Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA) and to these terms.

Licence and purchase

Nur Quran is sold on the App Store for a one-time price for personal use on devices linked to the purchasing Apple Account. There are no subscriptions or in-app purchases. Refund requests are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Content and sources

The Arabic text is the Uthmani text of the Tanzil project. Translations belong to their respective translators and institutions (Saheeh International, Diyanet, Kementerian Agama RI and others) and recitations to their reciters; both are served through AlQuran Cloud / Islamic Network. Hadith texts come from an open hadith database (fawazahmed0/hadith-api); the German, Malay and Dutch hadith translations and a few texts missing from the source were translated by us from English.

Prayer times and calendar

Prayer times are calculated astronomically with the method you select and may differ by a few minutes from your local mosque or official timetable; you can add per-prayer minute adjustments in settings. Hijri dates and religious days are based on the Umm al-Qura calendar and may differ by a day or two from local moon sighting. Please confirm important times with your local authority.

Religious guidance

Nur Quran is a helper tool; it does not issue fatwas or religious rulings. For religious questions, please consult a qualified scholar.

Availability

Translations and audio are downloaded from third-party servers; when they are unreachable, content you haven't downloaded yet may be temporarily unavailable. The app is provided "as is"; to the extent permitted by law, no liability is accepted for indirect damages.
