These terms govern your use of the Alpingo Pro app (the "App") published by Gepgo. By downloading or using the App you agree to them. Apple's Standard License Agreement (EULA) also applies; where they conflict, these terms prevail.
1. License
We grant you a non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the App for personal or professional purposes on Apple devices you own or control. You may not copy, reverse engineer or resell the App.
2. Safety and navigation disclaimer
Alpingo Pro is a navigation aid, not a safety device to be relied on alone. GPS position, compass, elevation, slope, map and route information may be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date. The App is not designed for aviation, marine or emergency navigation.
- Always carry a paper map, a compass and a backup power source in the backcountry.
- Judge weather, avalanche, terrain and your own ability yourself; consult qualified guides or local authorities when needed.
- In an emergency, call your local emergency number (e.g. 112 or 911).
- You are responsible for respecting private property, restricted areas and hunting regulations.
3. Map and data sources
Map data is provided by Apple, OpenStreetMap contributors (ODbL), OpenTopoMap (CC-BY-SA) and Esri / Maxar / Earthstar Geographics; elevation data by Open-Meteo / Copernicus DEM. Their own terms apply. Downloaded map tiles are for personal offline use only and may not be bulk-downloaded or redistributed. We don't guarantee these services will always be available.
4. Your content
Targets, routes, tracks, areas, map files and messages you create or import belong to you and are stored on your device. You must have the right to use files you import.
5. Team Mode community rules
There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. You accept these rules in the app before starting Team Mode for the first time.
- Harassment, threats, hate speech, sexual content, spam and content that infringes the rights of others are forbidden.
- Profanity and slurs are filtered automatically.
- Long-press a message or open a member's menu to Report it. Reports reach support.gepgo@gmail.com and are reviewed within 24 hours; offending content is removed and the user's iCloud record is deleted to cut off their access.
- You can block anyone; you'll no longer see their messages, position or shares.
- The person who created the team code is the team admin and can remove members.
6. Fees
Purchases and refunds of the App are handled by the App Store under Apple's terms.
7. Limitation of liability
The App is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gepgo is not liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from the use of the App, inaccurate position or map information, getting lost, injury, loss of property or loss of data. Statutory consumer rights are not affected.
8. Changes and termination
We may update these terms; the current version is published on this page. Your license ends automatically if you breach them. You can stop using the App at any time by deleting it.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence.
