TR Alpingo

Terms of Use

Licence, safety notices and liability

By downloading or using Alpingo you accept Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA) and these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Licence

Alpingo is licensed to you through the App Store under Apple's Standard EULA as a personal, non-transferable licence. These terms supplement that agreement; where they conflict, Apple's Standard EULA prevails.

The service

Alpingo is sold as a one-time purchase on the App Store and contains no subscriptions, ads or in-app purchases. Apple handles payment, invoices and refunds; request refunds from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. We may develop, change or withdraw the app.

Safety notices

Alpingo is a navigation aid. It is not a certified navigation device and must not be relied on alone for aviation, marine navigation or life-critical decisions.

Prospecting and permits

Prospect, take samples, dig and use metal detectors only where you hold a licence or permit and in line with the applicable law. Licence areas and geology layers in the app are for information only and do not replace official registers or legal documents. You are responsible for respecting private property and the rules of protected areas.

No official affiliation

Alpingo is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, any government agency or Apple.

Third-party data

Maps, terrain data, trail routing, the geology layer and weather forecasts come from providers with their own terms (see Licenses & Attributions). Bulk area downloads are enabled only for sources that allow them. You are responsible for complying with the terms of any custom map source you add and any MBTiles files you import.

What you must not do

Your content is yours

The waypoints, routes, tracks, drawings, samples, reports and photos you create belong to you and stay on your device; we claim no rights to them. We recommend keeping a separate backup (for example a GPX or project file export) of anything valuable.

Liability

The app is provided “as is”, without any warranty that it will run uninterrupted or error-free, or that maps, routes, measurements and positions will be accurate.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for accidents, injury, getting lost, data loss or indirect damages arising from use of the app. This limitation does not cover intent or gross negligence.

Changes

If these terms change materially, we will say so with an app update.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.
